Grand Prairie’s Fabulous Prairie Lights Opens Thanksgiving

It’s one of the most spectacular holiday light displays in North Texas, and this Thanksgiving, Prairie Lights will turn on it’s flickering wonderland of dazzling displays for another holiday season of festive fun.

Opening Thanksgiving, November 28th, and running until New Year’s Eve, you and the family can drive through 2 miles of displays featuring over 4 million lights! Check out the Holiday Village at the halfway point and take a stroll through the Holiday Magic Forest! Don’t miss the Holiday Happiness musical production in the Graff Chevrolet Theater present by Texas General Hospital!

Prairie Lights is located at Lynn Creek Park on the shores of Joe Pool Lake; the address is 5700 Lake Ridge Parkway in Grand Prairie. They will be open 6PM-9PM Sunday-Thursday, and 6PM-10PM Fridays, Saturdays, and holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve.

Admission rates for non-holidays are $20 for cars, $50 for limos, $45 for buses carrying 9-30 people, and $75 for buses carrying 31+ people. Weekend & holiday admission rates are $30 for cars, $55 for limos, $50 for buses carrying 9-30 people, and $80 for buses carrying 31+ people. Tickets for the Holiday Happiness show is $5 for adults and $3 for kids. Tickets for the Holiday Magic Forest is $3 for adults and $2 for kids. A combo ticket costing $7 for adults and $4 for kids will get you into both shows.
